Well, my mom forced me to take yet another trip across the country. I had to be buckled into my seatbelt and that makes it awfully impossible to be able to snuggle on a lap, but it' s for my own good -- or so I was told.
We spent one night sleeping in the car. Well, we tried to sleep in the car but other cars and trucks kept pulling in and the people from there were talking and it was my duty to bark and warn mom of impending danger -- so not much sleep that night. The nexttwo nights we found a pet-friendly hotel that was also wallet friendly.
The worst part of the trip was the hot sun beating down on us. Mom got really sunburned the first day and blistered the next. She tried to keep me covered with a blanket to keep the sun off me.
Just getting settled back in NY and boy is it cold compared to Arizona.
